The city of Sao Paulo woke up to see two Dutch boats docked at the Batata Square (Largo da Batata) and at People’s Park (Parque do Povo), in the neighborhood of Pinheiros, in Sao Paulo. The title derives from the buffered rivers of our metropolis in contrast with the open and integrated channels of the city of Amsterdam. Tulips and wreaths symbolized Dutch cultural identity, and especially the King’s Day – the most important day in that country. The elements that comprised the work were donated to the public at the end of the exhibition.
